These Submission Terms apply when you send Skeptic After Dark footage, photographs, audio, stories, case information, links, documents, or other material for review.

Ownership and Permission

By submitting material that you personally captured or created, you confirm that you own the material or have the necessary permission to submit it to Skeptic After Dark.

You retain ownership of your original material. You are not transferring ownership to Skeptic After Dark.

Permission to Review and Feature Your Submission

By submitting original material, you grant Skeptic After Dark a non-exclusive permission to review, reproduce, edit, crop, enhance, caption, display, publish, and feature the submitted material in Skeptic After Dark content and on related platforms, including the website and social media channels.

Skeptic After Dark may make reasonable edits for length, formatting, commentary, analysis, presentation, or production purposes.

Credit

When original submitted material is featured, Skeptic After Dark will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate credit when the submitter requests credit and supplies accurate credit information.

If you prefer to remain anonymous, please state that clearly in your submission.

Material Found Online

If you send Skeptic After Dark a link to material you found online but do not own, your submission is treated as a tip for research and investigation. Sending a link does not give you or Skeptic After Dark ownership of that third-party material.

No Guarantee of Publication

Submitting material does not guarantee that Skeptic After Dark will review, respond to, investigate, publish, or feature the submission.

No Automatic Payment

Submitting material does not create an obligation for Skeptic After Dark to provide payment, compensation, royalties, or other consideration unless a separate written agreement is made.

Accuracy and Authenticity

Please provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not knowingly submit fabricated evidence, false ownership claims, misleading information, or material altered in a way that is intended to deceive viewers or investigators.

Rights of Other People

You should not submit material in a way that knowingly violates another person's copyright, privacy, publicity rights, or other legal rights.

Personal Information

Information submitted through the website is also subject to the Skeptic After Dark Privacy Policy. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not necessary for us to review the material.
